Inaugural Grand Erie Learning Open Nearly Sold Out, Teeing Off August 5

Tee off to support a great cause! Join us for the inaugural Grand Erie Learning Open, presented by Hallex Engineering, on August 5 at 1 p.m. at MontHill Golf and Country Club. Every swing, drive, and putt helps raise funds to support student well-being programming and vital school initiatives across the Grand Erie District School Board.

"We’re grateful for the overwhelming support we've received from the community," says Brian Doyle, Chair of the Board. "Every sponsor, golfer and donor is helping create opportunities and remove barriers for students who need it most."

While sponsorships for the event are sold out, a limited number of spots remain available for individuals and teams looking to participate in the tournament.

Proceeds from the Learning Open will support programming and projects that increase access to experiential learning and field trip opportunities, and emergency needs, working to eliminate systemic barriers and expand equitable access.

"The Learning Open is more than a day on the golf course. It's an investment in students and their futures, and we appreciate the incredible support from so many community partners," said Dr. JoAnna Roberto, Chief Executive Officer. " We're excited to launch what we hope will become a signature community event that strengthens connections and generates meaningful support for learners across Grand Erie."

Organizers are also seeking donations for the tournament's silent auction to raise additional funds for students. Those interested in making a silent auction donation can contact foundation@granderie.ca.
