About the program
The Learn Lead Inspire award celebrates students, staff members and volunteers who have made outstanding contributions and shown steadfast commitment to their school communities, aligning with the Board’s mission to build a culture of learning, well-being and belonging to inspire each learner.
Program Details
- Nominations will be accepted year-round, and recognition presentations will occur monthly during Regular Board meetings (September to November, January to May)
- Recipients will be invited to attend a Regular Board meeting to receive their recognition, and their accomplishment/contributions will be featured on Grand Erie’s website and the Leader (Board Meeting highlights)
- Superintendent Regan Vankerrebroeck will lead a group to receive and adjudicate nominees for the recognition
Criteria
The nominee, or group of nominees (in the case of a team or department), will be selected based on outstanding contributions to their school communities, in alignment with Grand Erie collective priorities including Learning, Well-Being and Belonging. Nominations will be brought forward through administrators and managers, who will complete and submit the application on behalf of the nominee/nominator (if the nominator is someone other than the administrator/manager).
