Samantha Nemeth, left, of Hagersville Secondary School, was named the 2025-26 recipient of the William Robert Courtnage Community Service Bursary, presented to her by Lillian Wilson, the secretary of Crime Stoppers of Haldimand and Norfolk.

A Hagersville student has received $1,000 toward her ongoing education due to her “exceptional dedication” to the Student Crime Stoppers program at Hagersville Secondary School.

Samantha Nemeth has been involved in the Student Crime Stoppers program in her school, which encourages youths to reduce crime through sharing information.

“We’re proud to present this bursary,” said Lillian Wilson, the secretary of Crime Stoppers of Haldimand and Norfolk.
