Sweeten Your Day & Support Our School! Back by popular demand, we’re teaming up with Brantwood Farms to bring you their delicious apple cider donuts — and every bite helps our school!
Treat yourself, your family, or your coworkers — and help us reach our fundraising goal one donut at a time! Proceeds are going towards instruments for our school music program.
Back to Agnes Hodge is our milk program. It will run in monthly intervals, and you can place your order through cash online. Students will have the choice between white and chocolate milk in 200 mL screw top bottles. That way if they don’t drink it all, they can bring it home. Milk will be delivered to your child on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of that interval. PA days and holidays have been excluded from the order, and payment will reflect that. Unfortunately, we cannot track missed milk. If your child is away on milk days, they will not get their milk. If your child misses a week or more, please reach out and we can accommodate. We are hoping to use the proceeds of this fundraiser for year-end trips and for our music program. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Thom at penny.thom@granderie.ca
September 30, 2026, is Orange Shirt Day, which is also known as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We encourage Grand Erie students and staff to wear orange to school on Monday, September 30 to honour survivors of Residential Schools and to centre the importance of intergenerational healing and wellness. For more information about the significance of this day please click here.
We are excited to participate in our school’s Terry Fox Event on Friday, October 2, during the first block.
This year, we are also participating in “Toonies for Terry.” We are asking students to bring in a Toonie ($2.00) to support the Terry Fox Foundation. Every toonie makes a difference!
If your family would like to make an additional donation, you can do so online using the link below:

Students are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for participating in the run. We look forward to coming together as a school community to honour Terry’s legacy and continue his dream of finding a cure for cancer.
Thank you for your support!
Grandbridge Energy will be coming to Hodge next Thursday to deliver an Electricity Safety & Conservation (ES&C) Program; a fun, educational, and interactive presentation in our gymnasium offered at no cost for all JK–8 students.
This is a school-wide program delivered once every four years as part of Grandbridge Energy commitment to supporting local schools and promoting electrical safety in our community. The presentation aligns seamlessly with the Ontario Science & Technology curriculum and is tailored to meet the learning needs of each grade level:
